You Are Not Forgotten
The POW-MIA flag was created in 1971 as a symbol for those military personnel that were either captured and held prisoner or went missing in action during the Vietnam War. It often flies just below the American flag, especially on important holidays, like Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veteran's Day. Bearing the words "You Are Not Forgotten", the POW-MIA flag serves as a powerful reminder that, although their wherabouts may be unknown, they are always in our minds and in our hearts.
